Sorry but there are are ton of very similar PC cases out there. Its beenNot to the quality of the Mac case, they don't and that is the truth, we could argue all you want on the matter.
fashionable to have aluminium cases in the PC world for the last 2-3 tears.
Lots of them them have as many inovative features as the G5 case. If youuh, look, one fan would have to move air past the hottest and the coolest components all at once, this fan would have to speed up when the hottest were warm, not all of the air would move past the components that need it, come would be wasted on the 'cooler' components, more of the fans energy would be wasted and therefore it would have to spin faster (and produce noise). Many fans at independently controlled speeds makes perfect sense. Anyone who cannot see this has very flawed logic (this is not a particularly good explanation, but a quick one).
haven't seen any then you can't have been looking very hard. Personally I'd
have been more impressed if it had one fan or no fans. Since I really prefer
quiet or even silent computers. But 9? Someones having a laugh surely.
one fan spinning fast= noisy, lots of controlled fans=quiet. no fan + ppc970 = broken computer.
ThatUh, apple is quite obviously redesigning it's image, would you have said that the B+W G3 case did not look very apple? The isight etc all have that same look.
said I like the design but its not not very "Apple" or cutting edge style
wise. I'm sure theres a pent up demand for it among the hardcore Apple users
but I can't see this attracting many new users to Apple.
Have you seen one in person? If you haven't you can't really comment. From what I have seen the apple pics don' t do it justice. It looks better the more I see of it.
I'm also sure that the price will put off many too.
Heh, this is funny, it's cheaper than a similar PC... geez... A comparable dell would cost more, look and last worse.
I could go on........
