I tried international signed for a couple of times but with the
value of the battery at 55 pounds I'm only half covered at 30 pounds and
the extra 1 pound for full cover becomes mandatory so I ended up paying
three times the shipping - so I take the risk and - touch wood - I've
never lost an airmail parcel yet. I am past the point where the extra
charges were worth it at the moment compared to the attraction to US
buyers of low shipping to the US - I suppose now I've said that I'll lose
a few on the trot.
