Thanks to all respondees. John Lewis aren't stocking the G4 dual boot 1.25 DP - (or any G4 minitower) at least in Norwich or they would be first choice for customer service.
I guess I feel that there is a real chance (from the feedback on apple discussion boards) of getting something that is noisy due to poor fan or power supply issues. In which case I'd rather use a source that was known to be customer friendly in such instances. Or at least NOT use a firm who has a bad reputation. Am I right in that I can plug any apple monitor into this - or would I need an adaptor with an older model? I definitely cant stretch to a new display as well.
