I have still not sorted out the Epson problem, but I got my MacExpo
tickets printed, thanks to my PC! I targeted the downloads on the Mac
desktop and printed to the HP printer hanging off my PC, with no
problems at all.

Since downloading my MacExpo ticket and for some reason being unable
to print it, my Epson SC740 will not print anything else either.
When I tried to print my ticket, I got the error message:
"pictwpstops - got an error disposing of document". Does that ring
any bells with anyone, please? I am using a CRT iMac DVSE, OS X
10.3.5 and have tried this with both Adobe Reader 6 and Acrobat 5.

I don't recognise the error message but I do occasionally have
problems with an Epson printer and an HP printer not clearing a job
and just sitting there in limbo. To get around it I open up the
window for that printer and click on stop jobs and the on start jobs
and this seems to reset the printer. This is assuming there is
nothing physically stopping the printer itself from working and
assuming that all the setups for the document have this printer
selected. I continue to find it very frustrating that there is no
link between page set up and print, insofar as you can set up a page
for printing on the HP printer and then go to print and, if you are
not paying attention, you can end up printing to the Epson by
mistake. Utterly daft, but that is another issue.
