Sounds like it. Webmail addresses seem to be particularly bad for this
(hotmail, aol, yahoo, etc...). AOL had a situation a while back where an
employee sold several million addresses to spammers for money and even if it
wasn't done by this manner, it is very possible someone has harvested your
address. The only known cure (AFAIK) is to get another address once this one
becomes unbearable for spam. (And to be careful about how you use an
important address that you might need for example for work...I have seen
several people try to get around this by using only dedicated list or web
addresses (i.e. [EMAIL PROTECTED]) for lists or other surfing where the
address are more likely to be harvested and that way once the address is
spammed to death they simply drop it and get another.

Googling for your address doesn't seem to bring up much other than the
mailing lists so it doesn't seem to be that widely spread yet...

But hell, I'm no expert...someone else have a go?
