Beige G3 mystery

I have a (slightly neglected) 266 DT beige G3 with 9.1 on it. It's an 
international english 9.1., but when I try to update it to 9.2.1. with 
the International English installer off the main apple.com/support 
site, it tells me that it can't update this "localised" version.

Any suggestions as to what the problem is?
(It's a beige 266, 384M of RAM, Kingston 10/100 ethernet card, belkin 
USB card, ixMicro graphics card (and that's another story...), original 
CD-ROM replaced with a Lite-On CD-RW.)
