Hi Everyone,

Today was a day that showed me the world is not such a bad place after
all...

A potential customer came to visit our company and when he pulled out his
laptop to get ready to show his presentation and what did I see but an Apple
PowerBook! (In my branch, Apple is still as rare as a left handed
marshmellow peeler).

Curious about this, I asked about the Mac and was told that his wife got him
an iPod two years ago for Christmas and after opening the box and using it a
few times he knew that there was a definite emotional attachment that he had
never experienced with 'the dark side'...the strategy seems to work as he
then thought that life was so good with the iPod why not try the Mac as a
platform...he has since converted and is now a fellow preacher...

To add to the victory, he used to run a software company that was only Win
based and providing only Wintel software and then as well as now he and the
companies are based in Seattle, WA, USA. (I'll certainly forgive those that
do not know this is the home of the deathstar).

Slowly but surely we will convert the masses...

Thanks for letting me share the 'life is great through a pair of rose
coloured glasses' moment...

Cheers,

Richard
