My wife & I have Dension IceLink interfaces in our vehicles. You just
sit the iPod in the cradle. You do need to control the playlist from
the iPod itself, but thereafter the control is pretty much via the car
hifi. Not the cheapest, but it works well.

I have an (illegal!) iTrip, but have had great difficulty tuning it

give better performance, if you don't want to go to the expense of
having one built into your car.

I'm thinking of buying an iPod. I have OS 9.2.2 on my Lombard laptop
with a
firewire PC card, and iTunes 2.0.4. Can I use this setup to quickly
transfer
my CD's to the iPod? (I also have an iMac with OSX 10.1 which I
rarely use).
Also, has anyone tried an FM transmitter (such as Griffin's iTrip) to
connect the iPod to a car's stereo system?
