Sheffield? SHEFFIELD?!?

Don't get me wrong, I live in Sheffield and there are many good things about it, but even as a resident I have to say that I'm surprised. In many ways the picture painted of the town in 'The Full Monty' was painfully near the truth. It's very post-industrial, still low-skilled (mainly), lots of call-centre jobs. There's very little finance sector, very little design//graphics infrastructure - not normal Apple territory at all. I would have thought that a shop in Leeds, in the Victorian Quarter near to Harvey Nicks, would have been more appropriate. Leeds is a more commercial town anyway.
