PC World, Culverhouse Cross (Cardiff) has the 1.6GHz model for that price too*, plus it's on their web site. Bear in mind that the Rev 1 iMac doesn't have the bigger drive/RAM, Radeon 9600 and built-in Bluetooth/AirPort Extreme of the new bottom-end Rev 2 1.8GHz, which is £899. That's why the price has had to be dropped so much. Note that some of the Rev 1's are proving to be a bit unreliable and noisy if the forums (including Apple's) are anything to go by. If you're don't get one of the unlucky one's though that's a nice price. I was comparing one with an eMac at the above-mentioned store on Saturday*. Neil * - and as usual, the models on display had been messed around with, with half the folders renamed to nonsense like "ppppppp". No wonder they don't work half the time. You'd think the staff would check the machines on a regular basis and repair them. I was one of the first people through the door, so I'm pretty sure they'd been in that state at least overnight, probably for days/weeks. -- Mac UK is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... 123Inkjets.com <http://lowendmac.com/ad/123inkjets.html> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Mac UK list info: <http://lowendmac.com/lists/mac-uk.shtml> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[email protected]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/mac-uk%40mail.maclaunch.com/> iPod Accessories for Less at 1-800-iPOD.COM Fast Delivery, Low Price, Good Deal www.1800ipod.com
