Awww....it's too nice to stick under a desk :-0. Particularly if
it's one
of the MDD models with the shiny front and more-holes-than-a-cheese-
grater back.
Hey boy, watch your blasphemous language ;) I have just bought one of
those cheese-grater MDD PowerMacs (but the quieter second generation
FireWire 800 ones), and I lurve it so much. In fact, I just bought a
Radeon 9800 Pro to replace the crazy-modified 9600 Pro that was in
there before. I think that the MDD PowerMac G4 is significantly more
pretty than the new G5s, and only second to the Quicksilver G4 in the
looks stakes. I did have a B&W G3 for a week or two (I was selling it
on), and I quite like the retro-blue look. Lurvely. Heck, maybe I am
just an Apple fetishist? Speaking of which (and no, I am not drunk),
I did once go to a club in New York that turned out to be having an
Apple Fetish night. Only two people came in costume - one dressed as
a tangerine iMac (I kid you not), and another that looked like he was
trying to emulate the black PowerBook "pismo" look. A good night!
What were we talking about again? I got confused!
