9.2.x officially requires an OS X compatible machine (i.e. Wallstreet
PowerBook and Beige G3 on). It's a free upgrade from 9.1 and works
fine on PCI and NuBus PowerMacs (in my experience) when installed
using OS9Helper (http://www.os9forever.com/os9helper.html) - It seems
a little nippier and more stable than 9.1 on my PowerCenter Pro, so
it might be worth a try for you too.

Just a quick question: what is the minimum hardware spec to run
OS 9.2.1 or 9.2.2? www.lowendmac.com implies that all four-digit
(pre-iMac) PowerMacs only support up to OS 9.1, but doesn't give
a definitive answer.
