I bought myself a Mac Mini, nominally a 1.42GHz one with a combo drive, serial number VM54800ETAB. I'm still waiting for my mail order USB keyboard and mouse to arrive, so I can't boot it up to run System Diagnostics on it.
Does that 548 in the serial number correspond to the 48th week of year 5 (the last week of November 2005)? If so, do I have a reasonable chance of owning a revision C Mac Mini? Assuming it does have a 1.5GHz CPU and a 64M video card, will Doom 3 run on it at all?
