I wanted to buy Doom 3 for my new Mac. I placed a bid on an ebay auction that started at a fiver, and it quickly shot up to my limit of 20 quid. Feeling sure that I was about to be outbid, I bought another copy on Buy It Now while I still had the chance to do so. But noone bid again on the 20 quid auction.
As a result, now I've bought two copies of Doom 3.
