Hi Richard
Update on situation which may be of help to others later
I tried the new user trick but it made no difference so next I
suspected the modem driver. Uninstalled driver (BT voyager 105) and
setup again using a router Voila have been running Limewire, Azureus
and listening to Radio 4 all at the same time for the last 2 hours
without any panic at all.
Fingers crossed I think I have fixed it.
Thanks
John

HI John,
To ask an obvious question...have you tried logging in as another
new user?
Did you get kernel panics then? That can help to isolate the
problem being a
user pref file or similar or being a system issue...
HTH,
Richard

OK i took heed of the advice given above
removed limewire and xdonkey and gave azureus a whirl instead. Still
getting kernel panics.
Have run the hardware test disc no problems found.
tried removing user memory stick. Still crashes
Have disabled all unnecessary fonts
any one got any more ideas?
Hopefully John
