Hi Dave,

Using a Netgear Router, Modem, Firewall hub combo product together with an
Airport Extreme Base Station which work brilliantly for me. Most any ADSL
Modem from the usual high street stores will work...as long as it connects
using Ethernet or is 802.11b or g compatible (go for a 'g' connection
wireless modem if possible if you have newer Macs with 'Extreme' cards...).

Virgin is quite good with support for Macs and I haven't had a problem with
them in the 3.5 years I've been with them (even with a move to different
locations in between).
