Is this when you open the screen from sleep? If so close the lid again and
wait until it goes back to sleep and then open the lid again...Not a
solution but a workaround...

I find this can happen if you do not open the lid enough when waking it from
sleep and then it closes again quickly...so that in effect you are opening
the lid twice in succession quickly...putting it to sleep again with the lid
works for me when this crops up but otherwise don't have it...

It may be related to your energy savings settings? How is your put your
monitor to sleep setting...

HTH,

Richard
