My error. I read [EMAIL PROTECTED]'s post, but on closer
inspection, he merely states that it's possible to filter based on
the from header containing '.ru', but does not suggest deleting
them. Maybe you could set up a rule in mail that says "If from ends
with .ru move message to junk", that way the messages go with all the
other spam and you can report them all in one go, which is what I
used to do.
I used to report all my spam to spamcop, but after I accidentally
posted my email address on an apache mailing list, I started to get
anything up to 100 spam messages a day. At this level, it's not
really possible to report them all, so I set up a box to run
spamassassin against all my email, now I get maybe one or two a week
that slip through.
