Hi All,

I seem to have created myself a big problem.

I have a "Sawtooth" 400 MHz running 9.2.1.

I am I the process of upgrading the OS to 10 but I need to update the Firmware.

I have downloaded the firmware with another mac, copied it on to a CD then copied
it in to a folder on the G4's desktop.

I started the process by clicking on its icon, shutdown the computer then started it up whilst holding in the programmers button. I heard the tone then released the button but
no update took place.

So I now have a computer that will not launch back onto the desktop in order to try
again.

I have just got a blank screen with no smiling mac as it stops booting.

Has any one any ideas or have I just shot myself in the foot?.

Thanks

John Abraham.
