Of all the research and testing I've done to come up with this site, I have never experienced anything that would make me believe any version of Mac OS 7 is more stable than Mac OS 7.6.1.

Although, none of my site really has anything to do with games other than the newest ones possible on Mac OS 7 such as SimCity 3000 and RailRoad Tycoon II.

Perhaps you're dealing with 68k stuff? My site focuses on PowerPC.

You say on your site that if you are running system 7, you should always run system 7.6.1. I have found a few games that run fine under system 7.5.3 and 7.5.5, but will freeze a computer running 7.6.1. I don't know why, I just
know it is true.
