Hi Eric,

Thank you very much for your test ! These change is , like all other changes relative to look and feel, extremely important.

At Solutions Linux Expo, Mac users didn't care about crashes, but *always* asked for the look. We are far from " Windows vision " of OpenOffice.org, and we have not the right to ignore that point.

Of course, the current patch won't be commited as it : the plan is create a new header file ( salnativewidgets-aqua.h , located in vcl/ aqua/inc ), replace all the little conversions I introduced using existing runtime functions ( I don't know all of them) and progressively implement all the changes I have on my machine for other controls (means working, but not yet commited )

Thanks again for your feedback :-)

Eric

Hi,

Before to start to work for the missing cursor, I have tried to
replace the old code in salnativewidgets.cxx, for the scrollbar (
first )

Now, we can read system values ( ApplScrollBarVariant ) and we
can change the arrows dispositions on the fly.

I think the code is more clean ( but can be simplified maybe).
For the curious, the patch should work for m202 ( and m196 ) :

Thanks in advance for your feedback !

Once my build of aquavcl01 via buildbot is done I'll go offline and
see if I can apply your patch and rebuild the needed modules.

Kind regards,
Eric
