desktopbe1.uno.so is a proxy library to gconfbe1.uno.so and
kdebe1.uno.so for X11 based unix(s). There is a special mechanism to
register this library as UNO component, which it inherited from
gconfbe1.uno.so and which seem not to be properly adapted to OSX yet.
Please file an issue for this.
