Can you please check 2.2rc3, which is currently in final testing to see if that newer build exhibits the problem too? This may be another on of those issue that has been fixed by this release in the Intel platform through the CWS macosxmapfiles.

Sample problem (see screenshot). BTW, I just want to see if the plug- in integrated UNO JavaDoc in Eclipse, if someone has done the samething without the need of the plug-in, I would like to know how you did it :-)
