Hmm. Did you go through our X11 FAQs on <http://porting.openoffice.org/mac/faq/index.html>. Lately we have come across two "main" mistakes. First mostly new Mac users aren't that familiar with the Mac way of installing Apps so they forget to Drag and Drop the OOo App out of the dmg into the Application folder or do so only after the first time they already started OOo. In both cases you should delete OOo, delete your setting folder in ~/Library/Application Support/OpenOffice.org2.x, where ~ is the folder with the house symbol in the finder, and reinstall OOo. Even though it is unlikely in your case I do mention it that the latest OOo 2.2.0 seems to need the latest Version of X11. Before 2.2.0 it seemed to be possible to run OOo with all kinds of X11. Begining from the one comming with 10.3.9 that didn't get updated during X11 installation continuing with the one comming with 10.4.x and the one a 10.4.x update brought to the latest Update of X11 in November 2006. If you already haven't done so please update your X11 with this update <http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/apple/macosx_updates/x11update2006113.html> and OOo should work. It may be necessary to do both steps but I would recommand you to start with step 2.
