Hi Christian,

This is impractical, a cross-post is much better.
I disagree.
1st) The Mail-Archive has a rather big delay,
Are you joking ? it's question of 5, maybe 10 minutes only. Even one
hour is not important.
2nd) There is no easy way to get to the message-ID used in the webarchive
without using the archive, so see point 1
This is a more elegant way to inform the mac list, or whatever list not
directly concerned.
4th) why would you make mac-porters/testers read another mailinglist that
is totally unrelated for the mac-port, just to watch out for announcements
of new builds?
Put a link as I suggest is a simple way to read one mail only from
another mailing list.
Please click :
http://www.openoffice.org/servlets/ReadMsg?list=releases&msgNo=10894
=> This will open a new page ( or new tab) in your browser. No need to
search nor read anything else.
So +1 for continuing crossposting the release-announcement to the mac-list
-1 for me: this is completely counter productive.
And again you're mixing topics unfortunately :-(
No. You just feed the troll :-/
The given example was a suggestion of an intelligent use of the list, to
inform us, and another request to obtain those important informations: I
asked several times Maho to provide the number of downloads for every
locale, and I still don't understand why those informations are not public.
