Once fixed, we will provide a Carbon version matching with the milestone corresponding to the integration. And if we are in a hurry, we will simply provide the current milestone matching with OOoCon2007 period.
This is an i18n comment, and perhaps more relevant to future testing, but... Carbon has a number of Unicode "holes", compared to Cocoa. You will need much more rigorous Unicode testing before releasing for other languages, than you would if you used Cocoa. (I have ended up as a de facto Unicode tester for Mac apps, since my language (with combined diacritics) is a test case for Unicode support.) It took me six months once to track down a bug with Carbon and display of combined diacritics. I wish you were using Cocoa. :( But all the same, I volunteer to do Unicode testing (on Intel) when you're ready.

In the issues that are planned to be fixed for this CWS there are no changes expected that would affect the unicode behaviour. All problems regarding unicode should already be visible in the m225 builds, so you can start to identify them already.

Thanks for that info, Herbert. Maho hasn't had the time or resources to create localized m225 builds for OSX yet. I'm really referring to the Aqua builds, since X11 already has a stack of Unicode issues. The native Mac OS has, in general, good Unicode support, but originally it had some frustrating holes to fix.

So, once the Aqua builds are at beta level, I can start Unicode testing them. :)
