It's currently listed as a status report/live demo in the programme on
Wednesday, 18:15-19:00.
Not exactly. On Wednesday, I had a BoF scheduled ( officialy), in
development topic.
The problem is, Herbert Duerr, completely busy because of the Mac port,
forgot/missed the deadline for the initial proposal. Instead of nothing,
I proposed him to share my time.
The final timing for the BoF should be around 30min for Herbert and
15min for me (approximativaly). We already started to work together, to
not overlap the topics we will present. At this time, Herbert's draft is
well advanced. I'll complete mine this evening.
From my side, I'll have a lot to say in 15min *plus* a description and
( not yet sure ) a demo about the .nib creation and how it works. I hope
Roberd Dargaud ( alias Bob) will be present too, since he did the main
part of what I'll present about .nibs ( I was doing similar work on my
side, until Bob told me he had a more advanced proof of concept)
I would propose to do some roadmap planning and discuss what bigger
features (especially regarding system integration) have to be done and
who does what (and until when ;) ).
Very good idea.
I'm sure there are things that people would like to see but which are just not possible in the OOo 3.0
time frame, so may be this is a good opportunity to clarify things.

Eric, I don't want to take over your session, but thought it might be useful
for that kind of discussion/planning.
Well, I'd prefer continue with what was initially scheduled.
Just my opinion, but I think this is a bit late to change plans now (and
we asked a lot of times what do, who will do/propose something long time
ago, without any answer)
Alternatively, we could also try to find a different time slot (and a room) to discuss those
things. Didn't Pavel ask for a Mac-porters room a while ago ?

I prefer not to replace BoF, but use another time slot.
Anyway, what do you think ?
I think do a Mac meeting is a good idea, but not cancel confs for that.
Last but not least, I'd vote for a (wild) Mac porters meeting on
wednesday afternoon or thursday morning (most of the Mac porters will be
there ).
