I've encountered these three oddities as well. Should I report them as
bugs?
1. This is cosmetic, but detracts from the good appearance of the app.
When I drag the resize corner of the window (bottom right-hand corner)
to _enlarge_ the window, ghosts of the lines on that corner follow my
mouse pointer.
It disappears too fast for me to get a screenshot, but it certainly
remains on the screen long enough to mess up the neat appearance of
the app.
It does not occur when moving the corner the other way (shrinking the
window).
2. This is probably a bit exotic for early builds, but I'll mention
it. I use an input manager called TextExpander, which is a shorthand
or shortcuts utility. I use it because of my disabilities, but I
gather it's also widely used to save time and avoid typos. Like other
utilities of its kind, it responds to set shortcut strings, e.g. when
I type "mmm", it will input the phrase « mặc định ».
When searching in the Help, I used my shortcut to input « mặc
định » in the search box, and nothing happened. After I closed the
Help window, I found the text had been input in my open Writer
document instead!
Using my shortcuts in the Writer document works fine.
3. This is more likely to annoy users in general. I find that I have
to type quite a bit more slowly for all my characters to be input. If
I don't slow down, characters are omitted. :(
