Eric;
Couldn't get back to you earlier. I tried an update pull of the sal module, and got the same error. Did a fresh pull and got the following error in the build configuration phase:

checking for jawt lib name... -ljawt
checking whether to enable gcj aot compilation... no
checking for dmake... no
dmake will be built on ./bootstrap
checking whether to enable EPM for packing... yes
checking for epm... /Users/russellm/SRC680_m243/solver/680/ unxmacxp.pro/bin/epm checking whether the found epm is the right epm... ./configure: line 11038: /Users/russellm/SRC680_m243/solver/680/unxmacxp.pro/bin/epm: No such file or directory configure: error: no. Install ESP Package Manager (www.easysw.com/ epm) and/or specify the path to the right epm

Should I get this error; and should I install the ESP Package Manager package?

I pulled m243 [1/23/08 approx. 0700 CT] and died in sal:osl/ onx, scroll back below:
------------------------------
Making: ../../unxmacxp.pro/obj/module.obj
ccache gcc -fsigned-char -fmessage-length=0 -malign-natural -c - O2 -

[..cut...]

natural -Wall -Wendif-labels -fPIC -fno-common -DMACOSX -DUNX - DVCL - DGCC -DC341 -DPOWERPC -DCVER=C341 -DGLIBC=2 -D_PTHREADS - D_REENTRANT - DNO_PTHREAD_PRIORITY -DPOWERPC -DPPC - DSTLPORT_VERSION=400 - D_USE_NAMESPACE=1 - DHAVE_GCC_VISIBILITY_FEATURE -DNO_AUDIO -D__DMAKE - DUNIX - DCPPU_ENV=gcc3 -DGXX_INCLUDE_PATH=/usr/include/c++/4.0.0 - DSUPD=680 -DPRODUCT -DNDEBUG -DPRODUCT_FULL -DOSL_DEBUG_LEVEL=0 - DOPTIMIZE -DCUI -DSOLAR_JAVA -DSRC680=SRC680 -DBUILD_OS_APPLEOSX - DBUILD_OS_MAJOR=10 -DBUILD_OS_MINOR=5 -DBUILD_OS_REV=1 - DQUARTZ - o ../../unxmacxp.pro/obj/module.o module.c
module.c: In function 'osl_getModuleHandle':
module.c:163: error: 'RTLD_DEFAULT' undeclared (first use in this function)

dlfcn.h does contain the definition of RTLD_DEFAULT, and dlfcn.h is included in system.h

Are you sure you got a clean tree ? ( no problem there btw )

Can you please try cvs up in sal module ?

Regards,
Eric Bachard
