Hi Shaun,
currently we have only a very small number of MAC builds in our
Download-scenario (MAC OSX Intel/PPC only German and MAC OSX Intel
French, no en-US!). So the One-click download works only partly. With
future builds I see the sun rise so we can support MAC completly.
In the meantime I will link en-US MAC to
http://porting.openoffice.org/mac/download/
Cheers,
Frank

Hi,
Which results in the url
http://openoffice.bouncer.osuosl.org/?product=OpenOffice.org&os=macwjre&lang=en-US&version=2.3.1
First of all there is no such thing as an os of macwjre, second 2.3.1
was never actually been moved on to the mirror network (it was meant
to be done at the start of the year, however the issue never actually
got filed).
http://porting.openoffice.org/mac/download/ is the best place to get
the downloads, I tested all the links there yesterday evening, and
they are all working.
Yes I know that. The problem is that people using Mac's new to OO.o
don't know that and won't be able to find it easily when they want to
try it out. There has been a change on the OO.o download page. There
used to be a link to http://porting.openoffice.org/mac/download/. Now
there is an automatic OS detection system which isn't working for Macs.
(add &debug=url or &debug=all to the bouncer url to quickly test it.)

I'm not sure about the proper place to post this. Please forward to
appropiate peopl/list. There have been several posts top the
[EMAIL PROTECTED] list from people unable to download OO.o for
Mac OS X. I checked out the OO.o website and found the following. I
went to
http://www.openoffice.org/
Then I clicked
Get OpenOffice.org version: 2.3.1
Which took me to
http://download.openoffice.org/
I clicked on
Download OpenOffice.org
Click to start downloading OpenOffice.org 2.3.1 for Mac x86, (US
English version)
Which took me to
http://openoffice.bouncer.osuosl.org/download.php
which had the following message
