I have recently started to receive some Microsoft Word 2008 documents with the extension .docx.
When I read this documents on my Linux Ubuntu machine with OpenOffice, then there is no problem. Double clicking on the downloaded .docx is automatically recognized in the Ubuntu (Hardy Heron) OpenOffice. When I read this document on my MAX 10.4, then I cannot get OpenOffice to open this document. MAC OS is downloading this attachment as a ZIP file and not .docx. Is that where the problem lies?
