Hi Jason,
you will no luck with BEB300m3 and should use DEV300m26 instead.
OK. I built it from DEV300_m26, and I get much farther. At least I get a
"working" config.
The trouble is that the Java examples either beachball after opening
OO.o while trying to make an empty document, or they spew several errors
about autoreleasing objects with no pool.
The cpp example that I've tried so far, DocumentLoader, fails to connect
to OO.o at launch:
cd /Users/jason/OOo-SDK_3.0/MACOSXexample.out/bin && DocumentLoader
"/Applications/OpenOffice.org3.0_SDK/examples/cpp/DocumentLoader/test.odt"
Error: cannot establish a connection using
'uno:socket,host=localhost,port=2083;urp;StarOffice.ServiceManager':
Connector : couldn't connect to socket (Unknown error: 0)
make: *** [DocumentLoader.run] Error 1
Maybe I missed something that I need to run first.
I should also mention that I build on 10.5 Intel and end up using some
stuff from MacPorts: Python and a couple of other things.
I wonder if I should open issues on these, or if this is expected not to
work when built on Leopard?
Also, does anyone (Maho?) post milestones of the SDK built on Tiger for
Intel? I should probably install one of those to see if I have problems
with that running on Leopard.
(I guess this would also be a good time to really get the cross
development for Tiger on Leopard working to see if that makes a difference.)
If there is a more appropriate place to discuss this let me know.
No special tasks so far except PPC.
Thanks
Juergen
