So far I see you copied the function of File > Printer Settings > Options (which itself is a copy of OpenOffice.org > Preferences > <OOo Writer|Calc|Impress > Print) into a new tab in the Mac native printer dialog - which now prevents the preview we once had. Doing this, you also decided to throw away ability to create single print jobs and to chose a fax device; at least you added a "right to left" option for Brochure print. Furthermore the options choosen on OOo tab are missing yet in the results of the summary tab. And to get around that problem of a preview not more working you propose a forced pop up of printer setting options window. scnr: Tell me - don't you have some nice bugs in issuezilla to fix instead fumbeling around with working solutions :-/ At least give us a vision of what you intend to do and why it is worth to invest time and effort in it. And write some specification - that will help thinking of consequences and also helps to avoid logical incopatibilities. And…no, not a forced pop-up of printing options. Don't even think of it! My opinion? Leave it as it is and fix the bugs. -- Mit freundlichen Grüßen Uwe Altmann OpenOffice.org auf dem Mac: http://porting.openoffice.org/mac/ --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected]
