I recently got an ibook with Jaguar on it. I went online and found palm
desktop software and installed it on the ibook. I imported the files from my
old laptop and everything worked well EXCEPT I couldn't sync the palm with
the computer. Nothing happened when I pressed the sync button.

I tried disconnecting and reconnecting the hot sync cradle. I played with
the preferences, I went on line to palm and handsrping, and checked the palm
book I have. I spent a couple of hours trying to figure it out.

Finally, I did! There is a reset button on the back of the unit. I pressed
it once, a soft reset, and voila, I am able to sync.

Life is good.

What a strange, long, trip it is!

remember: it's not how fast you climb the hill that matters, it's how fast
you go coming down!
