OE is Microsoft software. If I remember, it is free, but not included by
Apple in any Mac OS installation.

As far as I know, having migrated from OE and OS9 to Entourage and OSX, the
OSX version of OE is Entourage. But I think Entourage only comes in Office
X, where it is sort of tied into the the other programs (uses Word's spell
checking, etc.).

I don't think Mail will import accounts, because I don't think that even
Entourage imported accounts from OE. I think I remember writing all the OE
account info down and re-entering it for Entourage.

I doubt that Mail will import the OE folder structure and rules. I am sure
that Entourage will. I know I had folders and rules in my OE, beginning
years ago, and I still have them in Entourage. For instance, my Saved Mail
folder has OE messages in it from 1995!
