If you mean a USB hub ... I think it is dependent on the hub. I've used 
hubs here at home and at work for years w/o any trouble. On the other 
hand, I think I'll be replacing the ethernet card in my aging G3, 
because the old one isn't playing nice all the time (though others have 
had no trouble with the model).
