I use San-Disk to read my camera memory card. Yesterday I opened a number of pictures with Preview that were in JPEG format. It was my intention to look at the pictures then rename each image that I wanted to keep before burning them to a CD. I have done this before without any problems. This time i messed up somewhere . When I typed in a new name then deselected the image the icon turned to a blank folder with the top right corner turned down. Now I can't open the image. I get the message " There is no application specified to open the document , ------ " I have tried Photoshop Elements, IPhoto, Preview, and Appleworks. Nothing works. Is there anything I can do to recover my pictures. I always appreciate suggestions I get from this group!
