They are hotter than Angelina Jolie.
Seriously. At least in the portables. Make you break out in a sweat  
just from sitting on your legs, hot.

well, that is compared to the G4.

Other than that, and the speed, not much.
But running universal binaries, compared to my previous PB 1.5GHz,  
this machine is screaming fast.

iPhoto and all the other iLife stuff is really fast, and Safari is up  
and running before 1 "bounce" in the dock is complete.
I would imagine that with a 7200rpm drive the performance would be  
even more noticeable.

If you are running programs in Rosetta, they have acceptable  
performance. and in saying this, I mean they generally run just as  
fast (or faster) as they did on my PB or the fiances iBook.

Just make sure you have more RAM.

If these machines are this nice now, by this time next year, once  
intel has released the Core Duo 2 or whatever they're called, it  
should be simply amazing.
