Interesting discussion for me. I like Lee's don't do nothin unless
it's broke philosophy, it's worked for me since Jaguar, and I've yet
to have a crash in OS X since Jugware?knock on my wooden head.
What about third party utilities, DiskWorrier etc? Do they verify
from the disk's installed BOM's, or use the system install on that
Utilities boot CD? It would make such Utilities worthless in the
described scenario, ie. if they used the CD's DOM's. Thx...jf
