I think the one I have is from Griffin Technologies. Works for my iPod Touch and my kids' iPods. Yes, we have a whole iPod crew! Also got one for charging on home AC current. They have worked great for me. To my knowledge, Apple doesn't make them and they seem to make a limited amount of accessories. Just make sure it is a brand recognized by Apple and I think you should be OK.
