Greg, I've tried the link you included in both Firefox(Firefox/2.0.0.12) and Safari(Version 3.0.4 (5523.15)) on my G4 Powerbook 1.67 ghz with Leopard(10.5.2), and didn't have any issues.
Though on the windoze machine I use at work, sometimes hangs pages waiting for ads to load. we have a very fast connection at work. I'm thinking at work the bottleneck is the laptop(it's crap). Sorry if this wasn't much help.
