Dearest Marta,
Thanks to you, too, in addition to Ed for hitting the nail on the head
about my problem (with saving e-mails in Mail) since installing Safari
4. This group is grand!

I noticed the same dilemma. So I either just drag it on the desktop
and handle it from there, or I choose print and then click on pdf
and save it as a pdf to the desktop or wherever I want it.

Mike you sent me an email with a bellsouth account of 5...@bellsouth.net
this bounces back as a not our user error.
My reply to your email which is about how Safari 4 has messed up
saving your email to the desktop is:
The link I sent with the reply was to show you others are having
the problem. I too can not save an email to my desktop though I
never do such a thing I tried it after you posted the question.
It is a well documented problem on Apples message-board.
I would uninstall Safari 4 if this is something you do all the
time. I practice zero email box
so I try and deal with the emails straight away most of my emails
are questions from students or mailing lists.
