My phone has a mini sd card. The photos I take with the phone are saved to the mini sd card and when I want to put them on the computer I put the mini sd card in a carrier and insert the carrier into a card reader. I then copy the photos to my hard drive close the mini sd window and drag the icon to the trash.
At which point I get the following message: The disk "NO Name" is in use and could not be ejected. Try quitting applications and try again. Well there are no applications using the photos on the disk. I tried relaunching the finder but that didn't work. I eventually just pulled the card from the card reader but the icon is still on my desktop and still unejectable. Short of restarting my system, how can I force the card to eject.
