The best, although longer term solution is to wait for the new 2010
Office for Mac, which I learned from a recent post on this site will
include Outlook!

In googling your freind's "predicament" , i came across several
suggested methods for syncing the data between the PC and Mac. I
suggest you look at Plaxo's site, http://www.plaxo.com/ , for info
on tranferring the data between the two platforms. The new 3.0
Plaxo for Mac client includes iCal sync.
The following URL is for a forum which discusses syncing to an
iPhone, from WIndows, through a Mac. It may shed some light on your
friend's situation.

Another source of info could be....

Hope this helps you with your situation.

As I sit here at work, my contemporary, who recently got his

asked if there was a way to sync the appointments on his office PC
in MS
Outlook with iCal or Entourage on his iMac. He has an iPod Touch
that he
could use as the intermediary to move the data.
Seems there should be a way of creating a bridge of successive
miracles
to make that happen. Anyone with experience in this?
Thanks,
