Now that we all have watched the intro by Steve Jobs and the rest about the iPad, I would like your opinions. Most of the apps I downloaded were hardly applicable to my status in life and Ideleted most of them. I have not played a single game and my fingers would not be fast enough and anyhow, those wild movements do nothing for me. Now, reading in bed, maybe, but then, I like the feel of a real paper book. the iWork. ? When will I ever need a spreadsheet or keynote or even Pages? What is then left for me? Photos? With whom should I share them? And videos? Movies? And I am not sure that I would need the tablet for emailing. I need to put stuff in files, clutter my desktop up with reminders , keep folders of letters , at least aliases on my desktop. ----- So that is I, I would probably ,if I had to choose anything, get me a macbook air ,just because it is a bit lighter than a regular laptop. I don't know about you all, being so much younger and more vibrant than I. And as far as music is concerned, I already despise the iTunes store with all its crazy looking icons which are everything else than the clean looking Apple stores and beautifully designed laptops .
