I know what you mean with all these calendar events being deleted. I have been trying everything, and then all of a sudden they will delete 650 events, and then somewhere else I get 300 some added, then modified, and then they show up double in my computers, yet my iPhone is strangely unaffected. So I have given up until I get a new phone. Mine is anyhow the first edition that came out in 2007.

Marta,

I had the same problem, here is the easiest way to show you.

Under notes there are subcategories of Notes on My Mac, and the name of my MobileMe account.  I had a mess between all the computers, iPhones, iTouch and iPads so I took my iMac, the iPhone and and iPad with me to the Genius bar.

The reason i could not sync was because I was putting some notes (appointments, contacts, etc. etc.) on the Mac side of things rather than the MobileMe side of things.

It was scary but we took everything off the Mac side and put them on the MobileMe side.  When he deleted about 650 contacts that was teeth rattling but I still had the TimeMachine backup at home.  Once we had everything on the MobileMe we then made the sync "flow" go from the corrected machine TO MobileMe.  Once MobileMe agreed in the number of contacts then we took the iPad and the iPhone and had the "flow" sync to them from MobileMe.

That did it, they each had the correct number and NOW I only put Notes, Calendars, Contacts etc. INTO MobileMe.  I guess if you ever wanted something to NOT sync with all the devices you would enter it into you Mac account, say a surprise gift for your husband and it would ONLY be on your iPhone or iPad.

Hope this helps.

I must have gremlins, more than one. Nothing I do on my computers shows up on my iPhone, nor anything I do on my iphone calendars, even when I specify one or the other or all calendars will show in my computers. My calendar syncing is kaputt, totally. Since I need and want a new phone I thought i wait and then start from scratch.
