Having hesitated to move to iCloud for various reasons--not the least of which
is that I thought that it requires Lion on every Mac you want to use with it--I
was surprised to hear that my favorite calendar tool, BusyCal[1], supports
iCloud while running on Leopard and Snow Leopard!

Adam Engst has a how-to on TidBits:
http://tidbits.com/e/12662

While it's a cleverly disguised plug for Joe Kissel's Take Control book on
iCloud (published by Engst), there is enough information in the article to
enable you to perform the feat without the book.

There currently isn't a solution for syncing other kinds of data with iCloud,
including your address book, so understand that going in, but if all you really
need is calendar syncing and can't move to Lion, then this is a great--if not
the only--solution for you.
