Thanks Jonathan, I'll wait on the herd to say yea or nay....

By the way, I tried to get the API set up today from the data vendor but they 
had some questions about the programmer's experience in C & C++, so I emailed 
the form to him.   He had cut his hand badly with a band saw and that really 
put a delay on coding.  If he can get the data from the firm, convert from 
Windows format to Mac and then get it imported into Filemaker then I will be on 
your doorstep trying to learn how to set up what I want.....time always stands 
still.

Hang in there, it may be Christmas morning but I'll be there!!
