Hi Everyone,
I really need your help. I wanted to upgrade the hard drive on my MacBook Air and ordered the appropriate equipment from OWC. I also ordered their recommended TS5 1.2mm screwdriver and several others in the set in order to take the back off the computer.

All went well on the first three screws. Then...nothing. The rest of the screws refuse to come out. Of course, we decimated the tiny screwdriver, as well as another one we ordered from Amazon.

I've read a number of solutions on the Internet, such as from take it to the apple store and pay them to take the screws out to use a Dremel to cut a slot on the top of the screw and then use a flat-head to remove it. (That damages the case, however.)

Does anyone have any ideas? I just hate to pay Apple to do this.

Jane
