Seems the computer I want to access is connected to it’s network with WiFi. In order to wake it up it has to be connected via ethernet. Nobody there able to do so. I did it in the system preferences to never sleep, however when I logged off from home I inadvertently put it to sleep.
Oh well my niece is there and she can wake it up for me. Thanks for all your help. > On Nov 3, 2016, at 5:40 AM, Ed Wiser <wisero...@gmail.com> wrote: > > https://secure.logmein.com/welcome/webhelp/EN/CentralUserGuide/LogMeIn/t_host_preferences_WakeonLAN.html > > <https://secure.logmein.com/welcome/webhelp/EN/CentralUserGuide/LogMeIn/t_host_preferences_WakeonLAN.html> > > Sent from my iPhone > > On Nov 2, 2016, at 9:42 PM, Harry Jacobson-Beyer <harr...@me.com > <mailto:harr...@me.com>> wrote: > >> Hi Ed, >> >> With LogMeIn I set up my Mac Book Air and my Brother’s iMac while I was in >> Florida and it worked. >> >> Now that I am back in Louisville, although the computer is on, it’s asleep, >> and I can’t get in without having my sister-in-law wake it up. >> >> Is there something I can do to wake the computer up other than telling it to >> never sleep? >> >> Thanks. >> >> Harry >> >>> On Oct 30, 2016, at 6:40 PM, Ed Wiser <wisero...@gmail.com >>> <mailto:wisero...@gmail.com>> wrote: >>> >>> Good I use it to access my father in laws iMac. 😀 >>> >>> Sent from my iPhone >>> >>> On Oct 30, 2016, at 6:22 PM, Harry Jacobson-Beyer <harr...@me.com >>> <mailto:harr...@me.com>> wrote: >>> >>>> Thanks Ed.
